How It Works and Pricing Options

The Sunday Club is a unique initiative aimed at supporting live music and new bands, particularly in the Prog scene. Every last Sunday of the month, starting in January 2025, gigs will be held at 45 Live in Kidderminster, featuring a support act and a headline band. The idea is to provide a great atmosphere for both the audience and performers, ensuring bands are financially supported and that attendees can enjoy high-quality live music in a friendly, accessible setting.

You can attend these gigs for just £18 per event, or join The Sunday Club membership for £15 per month. With a 12-month commitment, members get access to all 12 gigs, plus the chance to attend exclusive members-only events. For those who can't make it in person, streaming is available at £60 for the full year (12 shows). There's also an option to pay for the entire year upfront and save £20. About Steve Gould

Hi there! I’m Stephen Gould (but please, call me Steve!). Born in Birmingham on September 1st, 1957, I’ve spent my life immersed in music, which has shaped so much of who I am. I met my wife in 1974, married in 1978, and together we’ve raised two wonderful daughters and have five grandkids. We live in Bewdley, Worcestershire, and my interests range from movies and video games to mountain biking, reading, and, of course, music. Music has been the heart of our relationship and has created countless memories with friends and fellow music lovers.

Some of you might know me from my weekly radio show The Lost Art (aired live on MMH Radio and ProgZilla), or perhaps through my role organizing the Fusion Prog Festival in Stourport. Whether through radio, festivals, or gigs, I’m passionate about supporting live music.

Overview
How many times have you attended a gig where the audience was so small it felt like a private rehearsal? Sadly, this happens all too often, and it’s demoralizing for the bands, especially those who travel far to perform. We believe it’s time to change that. The Sunday Club was born out of a desire to help keep live, original music alive by supporting bands with real instruments and real performances—no auto-tune or gimmicks.

Our concept is simple. In a world dominated by subscriptions—magazines, streaming services, gyms, and more—we’re introducing a brand-new subscription model for live music. Hosted at 45 Live in Kidderminster, The Sunday Club will bring you a quality support act and headline performance on the last Sunday of every month. Tickets are just £18 (plus booking fee) for each gig, or you can join our membership for £15 a month, granting access to every show for the year. We also offer an annual subscription for £160 (save £20) or streaming access for £60.

With easy access via public transport, local parking, and plenty of seating, 45 Live is the perfect venue for our regular gigs. We aim to give music fans a fantastic experience, with an early start and finish to accommodate all schedules. Join us and help keep live music thriving!
